That morning, however, she said she was going for a walk on leaving her parents' home at around 7:30 am. So, what happened?

The young woman's parents cannot envision a voluntary disappearance or suicide; they are convinced that a man is behind it all. Indeed, several weeks before, she had returned to live with her parents due to a serious health problem.
