Synopsis

This heritage road movie starts in Thonon-les-Bains, on Lake Geneva, and ends in Menton, on the Mediterranean coast.

The military devised this mythical route at the end of the 19th century to defend the Italian border. Taken over by the Automobile Club around 1910, the route allowed the first motorists to tackle the Alps.
