ETHIOPIA: ADDIS ABEBA
A different perspective on the world
An episode from the series THROUGH YOUR EYES
In Addis Ababa, Sophie meets a people of legendary endurance who have run through the centuries. Like Gebregziabher Gebremariam, one of Africa's great marathon runners, who jogs 27 kilometres every morning.
For others, endurance is a necessity, like for these women who carry up to 40 kilos of wood over tens of kilometres to sell to a population that only cooks with coal.
