Synopsis

The Sami, the last indigenous people of Europe, live beyond the Arctic Circle. We are in Lapland, in the far north of Finland. For decades, the Finnish government has been pursuing a policy of assimilation, but activists continue to perpetuate their language, even on the radio. In Inari, young rappers regularly sing and host television shows in sami.
