Synopsis

The Pantanal, in Brazil, is the largest swampland in the world and every year, without fail, it inflicts a frightful ordeal on its inhabitants. Indeed, the dry season shrinks it to drastic proportions sending the local wildlife into a desperate race against the clock.

The animals have to reach one of the few remaining humid areas knowing that there won’t be enough room for everyone. For the numerous caimans this comes down to a struggle for life.

This film follows one of them, a young male. Will he be able to find space in a safe zone and stay there until the rains come back, synonymous of survival and mating?
