The Alsace region in the East of France is the top destination for Christmas markets. With its picturesque facades, illuminations, and gourmet aromas, these fairs are a proud tradition dating back to the 16th century and one its inhabitants proudly perpetuate.

The city of Strasbourg alone attracts over 3 million visitors every year, but even the smallest towns draw hundreds of thousands of curious visitors.
