Synopsis

Three years after the disaster at the AZF factory in Toulouse, France, an organization using the same name is threatening to trigger new explosions that can only be prevented by paying a ransom.

For months, the police hunted down these blackmailers, whose true nature remains unclear—are they dangerous amateurs or eccentric professionals? Indeed, these bombers border on the ridiculous, starting with their communication channel with the police, which uses messages hidden in the classified ads of the national newspaper with the code names “Suzy” for the investigators and “My dear wolf loup” for AZF. Who would dare to pose such a severe threat in such a grotesque way?

Despite its excesses, the AZF group left no trace. The enigma remained complete for fourteen years.
