Synopsis

At the helm of the Medellín Cartel, which he founded in 1976, Pablo Escobar instilled a decade-long reign of terror in Colombia.

Bathed in wealth, he raised his son Juan Pablo in a world of luxury, surrounded by weapons and drugs. But after 10 years in hiding, Pablo Escobar decided to surrender to authorities, only to escape from "la Catedral" prison a year later.

This act marked a turning point in the lives of his family, particularly his son, who was only 16 at the time.
