Synopsis

Yves-Marie le Bourdonnec is the star of Parisian butchers. In 2010, the New York Times named his burger steak "the best steak in the world". He supplies prestigious chefs such as Yannick Alléno and Alain Ducasse. His credo: top-of-the-range meat from passionate breeders.

In 2022, his professional career took a new turn. During his holidays in an isolated region of France, he frequented the local butcher's shop as a customer. When the owner told him that he was retiring, with no successor, Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec decided to take over, to become an anonymous shopkeeper again, with a whole new clientele to rebuild.
